Ceelo is played with three six-sided dice. A round is decided by an automatic result, trips, or the highest point.
Keep rolling until you make a recognized result.
Automatic results resolve immediately. Otherwise, set trips or a point.
Automatic wins lead; otherwise higher trips or points win. Equal results push.
The roll hierarchy
The highest automatic result. If your three dice show 4, 5, and 6 in any order, the roll wins.
All three dice show the same number. Higher trips beat lower trips when players compare rolls.
Two dice match. The remaining die becomes your point. A six is the highest point; a one is the lowest.
If your three dice show 1, 2, and 3 in any order, the roll loses.
If the dice are not 4–5–6, 1–2–3, trips, or a pair plus a point, there is no result. Roll again.
Ceelo language
A traditional slang term for side betting—wagers made by spectators or players on the outcome of someone else’s roll. Ceelo NY does not support cash bets; any in-app stakes use virtual chips with no monetary value.
A table call for a decisive win, often used when a strong roll beats the opposing player’s result.
Three matching dice, such as 3–3–3. Trips are a made result and are commonly ranked by the number shown.
The total amount at stake for the round. In Ceelo NY, the pot consists only of virtual chips that have no cash value.
A tie. When both players finish with equal-ranked results, the round has no winner and the stake is returned or the round is replayed, depending on the selected mode.
House rules vary. Before playing, agree on the roll hierarchy and tie handling. Ceelo NY's in-app rules control all digital matches.
